Would the Sheer Blonde shampoo and conditioner take out my dyed red color?

I dyed my hair a while ago and it was kind of like a darkish rich really pretty red. the problem is, it doesnt stay that way. now it's like a lighter, duller version of that. Anyway, my natural hair color is dirty blonde, and my roots show already. I want this color OUT of my hair and back to my natural. I bought the Sheer Blonde shampoo and conditioner by John Frieda and i was wondering if this will work?
