I want to scrunch my hair can someone help?

i scrunch it sometimes and it looks perfect but other times it doesnt work out and my hair looks like a total mess so i just stick with curl ironing my hair and i always get compliments on it cuz im good at that but im sick of taking forever to curl my hair with heat i want to do something easy like scrunching it i just bought the set me up mousse and hairspray by herbal essences my hair is naturally straight with some flyaways/frizzies i have the frizz ease shine serum by john frieda so i usually take showers in the night before bed and put the product in my hair and tie it up in a bun and let it down the next day and put more product etc. my question is how can i get my hair perfectly scrunched i want it to look cute and im looking for serious answers here i dont want a made up answer or anything i need some help so plz and thank you ! :)
