Having a problem with a boy?

So I recently moved here an I did have a couple of frieda before I moved here. This guy kept walking home with me and my friend and we had later became friends. Well later on we exchanged numbers and decided to hang out alone. We exes up hooking up as you could call it. Then we decided we needed to stop because neither of us were ready for a bf/gf but the thing is it's been about a week and he still hasn't even talked to me. Could anyone give me a reasonable answer to why he is doing this? And maybe what I should do? We had both said we didn't want it to be awkward now but he hasn't talked to me and I feel like I lost a friend please any advice
