Is being a vegetarian really that hard?

for the food it's not that bad it's easy to prepare food and such stuff i's easy, but now there are some kinda chemicals in conditioners and shampoos like sodium and other stuff which is from animals and i should avoid it, and the products that i could buy are all non-suitable for vegans or vegetarians, okay this is getting really strict and i'm getting really annoyed, can i just eat vegetarian diets and call myself a semi vegetarian? or should i call myself a non meat eater so i don't offend vegetarians with that, i have stopped eating meta just yesterday and i'm all fine and wouldnt find a problem with that and i'm doing it for my health and the poor animals (over at my country animals are being slaughtered legally because it's a muslim country and it's impossible to sell meat that hasn't been slaughtered according to the shari'a, but i hate the fact that those animals are being killed for me), but this candy and beauty product stuff is pissing me, we have no candy suitable for vegetarians except for skittles which i don't really adore, and all my skin and hair products have sodium, and i have figured out that those were being tested on animals so when i finish the bottles i have and i'll get john frieda hair stuff because they don't test on animals, is that good or there's anything non-suitable for vegetarians in it?
